    Hello,
I want to start wearing contact lenses all the time and am wondering if acuvue moist are suitable.I cant wear monthlys because there are none available in my base curve (9.0). The aspect of the acuve moist I am worried about is the oxygen permeability,I believe it isn't as good as the monthly's.Would this effect my eye health.I waill be wearing them 5 days a week 7:30-18:00.
    Thanks for your help.

Acuvue 1 day moist is very comfortable lens. Acuvue latest study suggests it is ideally worn no more than 10 hours per day 5 days per week. This is at the limit of your proposed wearing schedule. You could consider changing to Acuvue Trueye 1Day available in a 9.0 base curve.
Base curve is not the only considerations when fitting lenses in the same way. eg not all size 8 shoes fit the same.Shoe size doesn't solely determine comfort either. Your optometrist should be able to find you a suitable daily/monthly silicone hydrogel lens if you are considering extending your wearing time.

Thanks for the reply, I was considering trueye but they are quite expensive.I can get about a years supply of the acuvue moist for the same price as a years supply of monthlys ,so I chose the dailies for hygiene.

Trueye is more expensive anything upto 1/3 more than moist. There are 3 other daily silicone lenses on the market now also.
You should be able to get a monthly lens & solution for between 1/3 to 1/2 the price of moist worn full time.
You need to have this conversation with your optometrist. You need to know what you want also. More breathable lenses, More economical lenses, Most comfortable lenses Most hygienic lenses. Then try them out. If you can't get a better lens you can always continue with moist.
