I had an old motherboard sitting here for the past couple of years, came into a few quid, and decided to stick it in a case and buy the rest of the parts needed. CPU, PSU, RAM etc. Just cheap stuff. Nothing fancy.

Not my first time doing this, so I knew to make sure everything was compatible.

So I finished putting it together this morning, plugged it in, and it started. The motherboard light came on. The fans worked. Just nothing on the screen. The keyboard lights don't flash either.

Took out the new graphics card and tried the VGA port. Still nothing.
Read the manual (see attached), followed the instructions to the letter.
Tried a new CMOS battery. Swapped out the RAM. Reset the internal clock.

    Nothing I've tried has worked.
    Any suggestions?
