    http://www.tyreland.ie/ - working here?

I've gotten several tyres from them at this stage with no issues. Will need more shortly myself.

I see they're opening in Clearwater (Finglas) soon which seems a bit pointless considering it's about 5 mins away from their Glasnevin site. Somewhere on the south side would be better.

Don't know what part of the country you are in but I've been very happy with City Tyres in Bray.
I got 4 good quality Michelin Primacy HPs from him; 2 at a time. He studied each tyre in detail and chucked a couple out due to nicks in the sidewall. Seems to know his stuff and doesn't well cheap tat.
Much happier on these than I would be with the overpriced dodgy plastic Chinese things the local tyre place tried to flog me.

have used Tyreland in glasnevin a few times now, so have friends and family without issue.

Seemly they X-Ray all tyres and they put their mark on them to prove they are theirs if a customer returns with an issue.

A representative from Tyreland has spotted this thread and asked if they could reply, here is their response:

We are opening a new depot in Kimmage soon, (hopefully mid-September) so that should be much handier for our south side customers.
Regarding the Clearwater depot....it is already open for business. The reason it was opened so close to the Glasnevin site is because the Glasnevin depot is doing more and more brakes and wheel alignment work and therefore our customers buying only tyres were being unduly delayed so we opened another depot nearby to cover the overflow. There's method in our madness!

I'm sure if you have any further questions, you can contact them via the website or find their other contact details there :)

Doesn't practically every used car come complete with 2nd hand tyres ?

Not having a go at you Porsche boy, just pointing out how ridiculous this would be. Probably a rumour by the Tyre Industry.....

....almost as bad as when the SIMI were telling us that Jap Imports were going to kill us all...until their members starting selling them.;)

Second hand michelins are awfully dangerous, what you want sir is some of these linglongs, they last for ages and all the taxi drivers are using them.
