I am looking into buying a new macbook pro and was just wondering is it worth buying from the UK to save €90? Like would I just be better off buying it from Apple Store Ireland?

If you're planning on buying it overseas to save money, better off looking in the other direction and seeing if you can purchase it from the US....

Are you eligible for education pricing? You will definitely make a saving that way and Apple are adding in iTunes credit at present. You might save €90 but if you have to travel to collect it, this will obviously erode this amount.

Yes I am eligible for education pricing. But my cousin is eligible for UK education pricing so I could get her to complete the order for me. I have a Parcel motel account so I won't have to travel to the UK to get it.

PS the voucher is actually Apple Store credit which is even better than iTunes credit as you can use it to buy a hard drive or a laptop bag etc.
