Thinking of getting a vaxhaul zafira, probably 2010/2011. I've read some good and bad thinga about these cars. Anyone out there anything to add to this? Or can anyone recommend a good spacious car for family of 4 that could possibly grow to 5 in the future?

When I was considering upgrading to an MPV I looked at the Zafira. It was ok except I didn't like the rear bench rather than individual seats.

Apart from that I did read bad reviews, but you read bad reviews of every car these days on the net. Its a very popular car, and my logic would be that it wouldn't sell so well if it was terrible. People only tend to put negative reviews on the net.

If your family is only going to be 4, and maybe 5, do you need a 7 seater?
Any normal family car will do a 4 person family.

Look at 5008's, mazda5 and citroen's as well. I also didn't like the bench seats in the Zafira and it wasn't the asiest car to get in and out of the back of.

Have the mazda 5 and its a godsend with the sliding doors.
