Hello all, Does everybody know a dealer in Dublin who take a car on consignment, sell it and hand over the money afterwards. I must go abroad but couldn't sell my car so far, so i would leave it at the dealer and get the money after the car being sold. Thanks

Any dealer interested in this venture will be looking for a hefty commission.

What sort of car is it, any link to the advert? People here may be able to advise on making it more sellable.

Thanks for the response. It's a nissan primera 2005 SX 1.6 for 2950eur . I cannot post the link unfortunately.

I really cannot see a dealer being interested in selling it on your behalf to be honest. Unfortunately Primeras are not really attractive these days unless they are dirt cheap. €3k is very optimistic imo. You are also up against the likes of this one being sold by a dealer who will offer some sort of warranty on it:

Even a very tidy looking private seller asking €2500 for a SVE model here with small mileage:

I'd try dropping the price by about €600 as see if there are any bites.

You need to drop it a lot.
