    Hey all,just signed up with you-looking forward to having a delve around the archives with a cup of tea to see what you're all about....me,I've ditched the day job and postponed the musical 'career' to give it a go as a framebuilder,going grand so far-but more about that later I'm sure,got my first 100-miler planned for friday up the Antrim coast and back (keeping it as flat as possible for now until I'm used to it!) so I'll have to post up some pics from that adventure when its done...

    Hi,thanks for the welcome....I've two of my own builds I'm riding into the ground at the min (or 'testing to destruction',if you prefer!),one is a 700c/29er drop-bar fast tourer with discs,and the other is more of a Salsa/Kona Unit style 29er 'adventure' job which switches between mtb riser bars and butterfly bars (which I swear by on the longer rides)-I'll prob use this one on Friday as I'm in no rush!

    Got an old Dawes Imperial 531 I was thinking about doing that ride on too,but its huge and I dont think my arse could take it!
