Enjoyed that.. It's a pity they don't do that format more in "regular" Top Gear than some of the more pointless challenges and scripted nonsense.

It was worth watching infairness. Plenty of facts and it felt like you were learning something by watching it. Although most programes James May does are like that which is a good thing.

Couldn't disagree more. That was as dull as dishwater. I almost fell asleep watching it. Top Gear's "pointless challenges and scripted nonsense" is what makes it such a great show IMO.

    Opinions, eh? :)

    Yup, enjoyed it here too.
I find any "may" solo documentaries can be a bit hit and miss, but this one was interesting

Only saw half of it, however I think that despite the bad reputation LADA had one of them definitely saved my friend's life when he was rear ended at some speed by a vauxhall Cavalier driver with a cavalier attitude!

I saw this episode and really like it.

There are ways and means - a quick Googling should provide the answer!

I watched it on bbc iplayer last night. It was quite interesting and I learned a lot of de volkswagen. That was an interesting scheme the nazi's devised for first time buyers. I wonder if (when) our government overlords will introduce a similar scheme to get us all in electric cars :pac:.
