ZyXEL F1000 is bridged. How can I access wifi?

    My router - ZyXEL F1000 - is set to bridge for my home office. Can I access the internet via wifi by using an access point and how is this done?

    If you have it bridged, do you have another device providing routing/DHCP etc? Does that not have wifi?
    If you have an AP, you can just plug it into a switch and it will pass DHCP requests through to the DHCP server.

    If you tell me more about your requirements and setup I can advise more. Why is the router bridged to begin with?

    No I have no other routing device. It's bridged to a juniper box which is accessing a data centre in Belgium where our company servers are. Could I use one of the old Eircom routers as an access point. Sorry, but I am no IT expert.

    Should be very doable, however I'd contact the person responsible for IT before you go changing anything if you don't want them cursing your name.
