SUV Options

    Hi folks

Wondering if anyone can give me a steer on potential SUV options I might have. I've been looking at Kugas, ix35 and Sportages, but kind of like the look of the Tiguan now. Not really sure how best to get comparative reviews of them and don't know anyone driving one.

I've about 25k to spend, including a trade in of my current car which looks to be worth about 5k based on my last visit to a dealer last month who came up with 5.5k, so I'm hoping I can get a 2012 or 2013 model.

Would be very happy to hear thoughts from people or suggestions of other cars? Which models are best reviewed etc.

    Cheers

Tiguan is older in comparison to the others though it did get a facelift back in 2011/2012. Kuga would be the newest being launched in 2012 though it is expensive for what it is.

Given the choice I'd probably pick the Sportage, it is one of the better looking SUVs out there and the long warranty would be tempting.

Thanks Baz, when I looked at the Sportage (and the ix35) my concern was a little bit around the interior being slightly plastic when compared to the Kuga or Tiguan but I guess that's the price differential.

I'd get over the aesthetics of the plastics in favor of them less likely to give you trouble and the comfort of the longer warranty.
