Company to Monitor broadband?

    Hi Guys

A few weeks back I seen a link on front page of boards. It was a company in Ireland that was giving out boxes to monitor how crap your broadband was and feedback to the government. I had meant to register for my brother in cavan but lost the link and for life of me now I cant find anymore. I tried google and just see reference to Comreg but they have nothing about this. It was a little white box free of charge.

Does anyone have the details on this? I have 3 brother and my parents living in same area and there broadband is brutal. Like stuff I seen on 56k modem back in the day. I think it is a joke they are paying Eircom a fortune for it. They have moved to Vodafone etc and no better. Have tried the little dongles but again crap.

Dont see why they shoudl pay for such a poor service.

Yes, have it running for over a month now. The stats are quite good and have convinced me to move away from Magnet Networks.

I now have two routers from them, one a crap one, one the n600. N600 is plugged in, other one is just unplugged. Whats to stop me plugging back in crap one and wiping the n600 to my own nefarious purposes? :P
