Mondeo st ???

    Was looking at maybe buying a mondeo st. Has anyone got any opinions on them as do they have a reputation for being reliable or not. The 2.2 tax does not matter to me. Far better selection in the uk as they're rare enough here still. Cheers

    They are not without their problems. Best thing to do is browse some owner's forums to get an idea of common issues.

    Cant really go wrong with a good st ive had one for over two years with very little bother.

    The main issues with the st like all mondeos are flywheels, Injectors, handbrake cables and rear brake callopers.

    Clutches, flywheels and injectors are not interchangeable with other model mondeos but everything else is so parts are not all that expensive.
