Internet crashing! Please help

So basically my connection to the Internet will crash randomly throughout the day when I am using it. I would be in a round of league of legends (popular online pc game) when it would stop and a pop up would tell me to reconnect. I am a pc gamer and in all my games lately my Internet has crashed. Vodafone sent me a new modem and an eircom technician and the line is ok. I don't think it is crashing when I am on my phone or watching netflix it might be my computer that is affecting it. I recently moved my PC from a different room so I have a 30m ethernet cable connecting the modem to the PC. Could that be the problem or what could it be? This has been happening for weeks and I don't want to move ISP if it won't change anything.
