Extending wifi

Its supposed to clone your router settings but no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work and ended up sending it back.
I have a pair of standard TP homeplugs but couldn't pair it with them either.
Does anyone have any suggestions of something I can get to extend the wifi signal that would be easy set up....Thanks!

The product you linked to is supposed to be used with another homeplug adapter, not on it's own. I assume you checked the installation guide?
