To be precise: FSA Gossamer compact crankset, Ultegra 6600 mechs, Ultegra 6700 cassette and 105 5600 shifters.
Can I just use a campag veloce chain?
I've seen a KMC quicklink thing but do I still need some special tool(s) to install said chain?

You'll be struck down by the euro gods but once it's a 10 spd chain on a 10 spd drivetrain it'll work.

What if I cycle really fast so that the gods won't be able to see the Campagnolo 'C' written on the chain... will I get struck down (apart from when I'm at a traffic light of course)

That should work (and you can backpedal really fast at traffic lights)...
