Renewing a recently expired provisional

Hi guys, so I want to get my act together and get my motorbike licence sorted.

I done my theory 2 years and got the provisional but has since expired (13 months now.) I never got around to doing the IBT.

How do I go about renewing it again? Do I need to apply for a new one? do my theory again? go for an interview?

The ndls site is less than helpful on this scenario.

    Thanks

You don't need to do the theory test. Just get yourself an appointment with the nearest NDLS centre - I believe you can do that on-line nationwide now - and bring the completed learner permit application form with you. You can get one here:

    http://www.ndls.ie/images/Documents/LearnerPermits/D201_Learner_Permit_app_form.pdf

The NDLS website seems useful enough to me, BTW. Near the bottom of this page:

    http://www.ndls.ie/en/learner-permit/how-to-apply.html

    ...we see the following:

Where you are renewing your learner permit, you must submit:
A fully completed NDLS "Application Form for a Learner Permit"
    The appropriate fee
    Your current learner permit
If applying for a third or subsequent learner permit you must submit evidence
    - that you have sat a driving test (Failure certificate) or
    - that you have a forthcoming driving test
A completed NDLS Medical report form if required in your case
    Evidence of PPSN

You won't need the medical report for a motorcycle permit, and you should be in and out in twenty minutes.
