I don't think so, tbh, it's rare to hear of someone being able to "pass on" a council house.

    Are you on benefits?

Its not that there passing it on my boyfriend is on the lease so we are moving into that house rather than him giving it up. at the moment i am out of work

If you are out of work and on benefits, and he is working, you need to figure out how that will affect you tbh, as his wages will be counted as means, so it could be more of an issue than not having furniture.

You should contact your CWO if he is not working.

If he is, then you need to work out how that affects you.

First of all , regardless of which "benefits" you are on you must tell SW that you are moving house.
If you are on Lone Parent, that will end. If you are on Job seekers then that will depend on wether your fella is working, and if he is, then how much he is earning.
If he is on Job seekers and considering you are pregnant, it would probably be best if he claimed for you and your kids for now.
When you move in, he needs to tell the Authority straight away so they can adjust the rent.
You are really, really lucky to be able to move into a council house considering the housing crisis.
Regarding furniture, white goods etc. you are going to the CWO to ask for a exceptional needs payment
