    Can anyone tell me about Cuan mhuire in cork,day to day life there for alcoholics? Access to family and friends, etc.......

    My mam went to the one in Galway. They all got little jobs to do, for wax ok my mam did sowing and made teddies to sell in the shop, she worked in the laundry too.

    They have a plan as far as I remember, up for breakfast, mass, meetings etc

    The quality of life was good, we went to visit on the weekends. All walks of life there, alcoholics, gamblers, drug addicts of all ages too. Men weren't allowed interact with women.
