Hope it's ok to put this here rather than the regional forum. I used to love the occasional indulgence of a e10 blowdry (long hair) in a salon in Tallaght but it has now closed! So can we make a list if cheap places for a quick blowdry? I travel around the city a lot with work so location isn't particularly important I'd I can get my fix for as close to a tenner as possible! Any suggestions for salons and prices v welcome. Thanks.

Angel styles in Garristown do a straight or curly blow dry for 10 euro. They're not open on Monday or Tuesday, but Sharon is the girl who owns it and does a fantastic job.

I spotted an offer for a 12 week blowdry in their window yesterday, that's how I came across them. Once I find out the price I'll post it here.

Really dim question - what is dry styling? Does is mean they don't actually wash your hair? I'd probably love that as I alwzys find salon shampoos harsh on my scalp and hate leaning back into the basin, but how does it work to get a nice do if they don't start from wet?

Hey fiona! Basically you go in with dry, clean hair and they can do an upstyle like braids and curls or something, or ghd curls. So you wouldn't get a blow out bc your hair is dry but still, a cheap and quick do!

Ugh i hate that creak you get from the basin...always think my neck is going to snap off!!

Is it?? I thought it was €100? I am drying by there in the next hour so will report back! I presume the €50 doesn't include shampoo and conditioner?

I seriously need the 12 week blow dry. After having the baby I find I don't have the same amount if time to spend on my appearance.

Yep it's 50! I called them last week. I am going to call again today to find out if it includes shampoo and conditioner - do you mean them to apply it or the take home products?

If it doesn't include the shampoos, L'oreal do a nice sulphate free range, it's often on 3 for 2 in boots :)

Peter Gregory 12 Week Blowdry - I forgot to ask the brand of Keratin they use, the products are not supplied with, if you want them incl. it comes to about €85, and you don't need to wait 72 hrs to wash, it's all done on the same day - so you need to give about 3 hrs for your appointment.

Booked in for Sat week so I'll let you know how I get on :)

Brill :) would love to know the brand as some IMHO are better than others. My hair is a bit crazy with the weather at the mo. Also it is super thick (thanks to the amazing amazing eddie from preceptions in terenure), do they charge a supplement?
