2DS Screen broken :(

My 2DS with my ambassador games and loads of other purchases has been broken tonight by a family member, by accident they pressed the lcd screen too hard and broke the inside on both top and bottom, the outside screen is not damaged, anyone know anywhere that repairs them, was bought last November in Smyths in Tallaght but I no longer have the receipt, Nintendo want €88 to repair, I can't even do a system transfer as I can't enter the account password, don't let kids near your treasures is all I can say.

If someone could do the system transfer for me to a 3DS XL I would reward them a semi new copy of Dragon Quest IX for DS for their hard work, I am so pissed right now though, ****ing Vita charger goes bellyup on me and now this.

I was looking for a replacement screen myself a while back, considering fixing a broken 2DS up.
But the screens seem impossible to find.
When I say screens I really mean screen as there is only one in there, stretched across the two areas.

If you can locate a replacement screen the console is an easy teardown afaik.
So Google away and best of luck!

    Edit:
    Here's one
    link

I think the op would be as well paying Nintendo for the repair, not a huge difference in the price & at least this way there'll be a warranty on the repair etc

I agree. They'll do a transfer too for you.
