Who here tracks their macronutrients? (My Fitness Pal etc)

I've only ever done it trying to lose weight a couple of years ago but considering doing it again for a lean bulk!

Do you ever find you overthink it if you do? I'm really curious to find out other boards peoples experiences with trying it!

How do you find it long term? My biggest issue was keeping it up after 5-6 months

I only need to do it if I'm consciously trying to move my bodyweight significantly one way or another.

After a few weeks of tracking you kinda know what you're consuming anyway.

I'll track macros if I wanna cut but not for bulking/maintaining. If I'm taking in 85% clean food I'm happy.

And out of curiosity have you managed to keep your fat gains minimal? and how long at a time do you bulk for?

Yeah they haven't been bad, it's to be expected to a certain degree obviously.

    Until I'm happy I'll bulk.

I also track macros. I eat a lot of whole foods but I like to be able to eat a bit of everything so tracking suits me.

I also have to track when bulking or I dont get enough food in
