What do ye think? Some feat of engineering
Imagine 6 round silage bales on it, you'd be lucky to get to the gap. It would collapse under the weight of the bales never mind towing with that hitch

Be a great job for straw

not sure which would calve first - the box drawbar or the chassis.
the rsa will soon be pushing for doe-ing trailers every year n the likes of that junk gives makes it hard to argue against them!

Jesus - I'd be wary of standing on the back corner of it, nevermind putting bales on it. Welds on the drawbar look like they'd pull clean off anyways - wouldn't have to worry about it making it out onto the road at least...

The eye of the drawbar looks like 2" angle with a bit welded to it for the eye.
Maybe we should send him a text and see how much he's looking for it ;)

It's dead safe, it'll foal before it leaves the sellers yard. Never see a bale

The problem is that it's stuff like this that convinces people in authority than we need to have standards, annual tests, weight stamps and more policing.......eventually making it more difficult for us all

Well they are stopping lads and checking for plates, so the day of homemade trailer is gone.
My ten year old cousin would make a better and probably stronger trailer with his LEGO.

Thereby adding a minimum of 5 euro per bale to your cost. I think you need to reevaluate your plans tbh before you price any trailer.

maybe the silage fairy might draw them over, or what do you suggest???

Neighbour makes a good few bales on an out farm where his heifers graze. Leaves em there till winter and then gets the contractor to bring back two loads at a time as he needs it. Could be a solution, save you the cost of trailer and spending the day drawing and loading/unloading bales
