    Hi,

I plan to do my driving test in a few months. I've heard that the test involves being asked some theory questions aswell. I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me if there's a book available to prepare you for this part of the test.

I've passed the theory test already so is it the same book I used for that or is it a different one?

    Thanks in advance! :)

I don't think there's a specific book for this part - it's basically a super mini version of the theory test.

You will get asked about some signs (what they mean) and I was asked what a yellow box junction means. So brush up on your road signs and markings.

You also have to do under bonnet checks and secondary controls in the car before actually driving. Then also hand signals.

Head to youtube and locate the RSA channel and watch the videos named: During your driving test (can't link as I'm a new user :()

Have a good read of the Rules of The Road and you should be ok. I think that there is an online version of it on the RSA's website. Unlike the theory test, the questions during your test are not multiple choice. He'll just ask the questions and its up to you to provide the answer. He will also have all of the road signs on a laminated card. He will point to 4 or 5 of them and ask you what they mean.

Hi, its basically a shortened version of whats in the theory test but you need to know full rules of the road to get by. check out the Erne school of Motoring website as they have pointers on questions asked in the test
