Giant tcr for sale

    Giant Tcr composite 1 frame with running 105 expect for a compact ultegra crank. Bike used for one year. Selling as I have upgraded .. Usual pain scratches on bike I have pictured them .. There is also a v v small hole on de down tube as a result of seat post rubbing it .. It shoes not effect de bike in any way . Great little bike. Will be sad to let it go ...€ 1300 Open to reasonable offers

    You mean the seat post wore a home through the down tube? That shouldn't happen.

    The TCR uses a proprietary seat post...
    When it passes a point in the down tube ( where its shouldn't be!!!) you run the risk of forcing the post thought the tube..
    Often happens when seatpost clamp not tight and post slides down..

    Top half if seat tube oval
    Bottom have round
    When the seat post goes to low and is forced it pierces the seat tube outer

    Square peg... Round hole scenario

    All the above it true and de dealer did not let me know I needed to cut the seat post. So as a result it rubbed the hole .. It's tiny and does not effect the bike in any way...

    Probably best to post a PIC of the damage as €1300 is a high price for a damaged carbon frame.

    Have you priced a repair?

    I would beg to differ, surely the strength of the seat tube has been compromised/weakened by the hole.

    As I read it he's selling the while bike..
    Including the damaged tube.......
