    Jago is funny.
He has plenty of fresh water but he LOVES going out in the garden and drink from puddles..
    Why????

My cats are the same, wonder if it's the fluoride in the tap water...

Possible. Buy some cheap bottled water and see if he drinks that.

If the problem is the chloride (not fluorite) in the tap water try this: get some water from the tap in a large pot and leave it there for a day. The chloride should evaporate and the water should have a more inviting smell and taste to your cat :)
