Any 1 have any leg issues that can offer advice. Iv been to a physio that my doc recommend. Still no help. Pains in my legs for 5 months now. I'm a waitress & have tried good shoes / insoles. Leg support socks etc. No long term relief. Any recommendations greatly appreciated 😊

How long have you seeing the physio?

A second physio opinion maybe a port of call to take if you feel this physio isnt working on getting to the root of the cause. I have had experience where a physio has tried to put a bandaid over a bullet wound with an issue I had so I went to a different physio and never looked back

It also depends on the nature of your leg issue

doctor recommended physio? what do doctors know about muscle issues?

get yourself a decent physio that doesn't overcharge and wants to solve the issue in the least amount of visits.

    where are you based?

I'm a Physio and sometimes it's no harm to get a second opinion. If the Physio is anyway decent they won't mind you going for another opinion if the two of you feel like you're going no where. Check out the ISCP website for lists of physios. Or ask your family or friends if they've been to someone that they liked.

    Hope you get sorted!

Pain in your knee? calf? thigh? Where?

Consider going to a podiatrist to get custom orthotics if you have posture problems, those over the counter things are crap. Start foam rolling and get a second opinion. Physios aren't magicians either way, these things take time.

insoles only alleviate the symptoms, they don't solve the problem.

They solve the problem if the problem is poor foot biomechanics!
