A registered commercial operator for hire?
The IAA will hardly ask either...

They may ask but knowing the pilot concerned there would be no question of money changing hands.

The flight would have been a favour to a friend or neighbour. So no need for snide implications.

All the 'G' Irish based aircraft, why bother with an IAA register?

You implied an illegal flight on the basis of no information whatsoever. Even if I didn't know him. I would object to that suggestion in any case.

Leave it to the real investigators.

You must have difficulty with reading comprehension, my OP was a question.

You are the one that has knee jerked about snideness and illegality.

You are dead right here, "why bother"? :roll eyes:

You could run two G aircrafts for the price of one EI aircraft.
