Speeding on N15

Hello,
I was just wondering if any of your were on the N15 between Sligo and Donegal this Thrusday between 6pm and 10pm.

I was in a hurry to and back from an urgent family event and broke the speed limit quite a lot, I didn't see any goSafe vans but I was wondering if anyone else saw any Guards or Speed Cameras in that time.

On one particular short very straight stretch between two roundabouts I hit 160kph.

I know what I did was incredibly stupid but the roads were quite empty at the time, and I certainly will never be driving that fast again.

If I was caught at those sort of speeds would it just be a fine in the post or a summons to court. I have never had any motoring offences so I am unsure as the limit on that road is 100 kph.

Don't worry about it you'll be grand. You'd have seen the Cops or vans parked up as you went past them.

From my experience in the past on that road they sit
Between Rathcormack and Drumcliff
On the way down hill into Grange
The Bundoran side of Cliffony
The long stretches after Bundoran roundabouts
Down hill on the Ballintra bypass
and Laghy of course

All these are favorite spots and I have seen them parked up at various times.

As long as you behaved in the 50 and 60k zones you will be sound
