    So here's what happened.

My aunt suffers with Bipolar since she was a teenager & she was in hospital 9 years ago when she had a breakdown & was really mentally ill & then she left Tallaght Hospital & she was back fine & happy again. Then a few months ago my mam passed away from brain cancer & my aunt & mam were best friends & twins. My aunt doesn't have any friends only my mam but she's gone now & my aunt was coping well but she's back in hospital again with depression & tension. She just wants everything to be different but I don't know what we are going to do because my mams gone we can't change what happened. My aunt cares for my nanny because she's 84 & she is sick of caring for her because she's cared for her all her life. Her son & her don't always get along & but they have been getting along ok since a few months ago.

My aunt is just sick of everything. She doesn't work anymore & she has no friends. She just basically looks after my nanny 24:7.

She joined a gym but still she feels alone & I live to far away to see her everyday & my cousins going back to college.

    Hey there,

Sorry to hear of your Aunt's problems. May I suggest you also post the above over in personal issues? The people there may be able to offer a lot of suggestions of ways to help as they are a very helpful bunch.

Best of luck to you and your family.
