Hi Just a quick question. We are going to New York for a week soon and was wondering what's best to keep my money safe. We will be bringing a certain amount of dollars in cash but what's the safest, easiest and most economical way to bring the rest. I have a BOI visa debit card and also a BOI MasterCard credit card.

Thanks for any and all advice

    Hi medoc.

Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.

Although we would be unable to advise you specifically on this without knowing your personal circumstances, please find more information on our international fees for Visa Debit cards on page 7 of our brochure here
The charges for our Credit Cards can be found here

The majority of ATM's and points of sale in the US accept Visa Debit cards and Mastercard. However, please note there is a daily withdrawal limit on your Visa Debit card of the equivalent of €250 in the US and some banks will apply their own limit. Your Visa Debit card will still work at a point of sale after you reach this limit.

Please let us know if we can help with any other query.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
