I have a surplus of pillow cases and a few heavy blocks in the back garden so a cat would be useful

I used to have a recurring dream when I was young.

I was taking out the ashes on a winter's morning and the Loch Ness Monster came over from Scotland and flattened my house while my mother was inside making an apple tart.

That several of my teeth will fall out at the same time. Or that I'll be walking down the street and will suddenly realise that I've got no trousers on. Or that I'll be chased by a terrifying monster and I'll want to scream, but no noise will come out.

You want your son to be born "to fúck".

The only man I know who's been born to fúck is Ron Jeremy. :p

I left school early, so for the best part of a decade my dream was to return to education. Thankfully it's come true and I'll be graduating with an LL.M. in November. So now it's time to set a new target. Within 5 years I want to have earned a professional qualification and be working in the respective industry. I'll hopefully be a dad by then as well. You can't stop progress! :)

Not an Apple Cart à la mode Bertie:
One example of Bertie-speak noticed by the Irish media (Sunday Tribune) occurred in 2003 while Ahern was addressing Dáil Éireann and referred to "the road map", the European Union's Middle East peace plan, as "the road crash" on several occasions.[5]

Another famous example is his call for people not to "upset the apple tart".[2]

    Short term dream:

To finish my degree next year and hopefully secure a part time job during it which is very difficult at the moment.

    Long term:

To be happily married, a few kids, nice comfortable house, not exactly rich but I'd like to be comfortable and secure and to be working in a job I like.

To own a beach bar in some tropical country

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,495 ✭✭✭✭eviltwin

to be financially comfortable, not rich, just to have enough cash to pay my bills and be able to go out once a month or so. And for my kids to be happy.

To crush my enemies, to see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

That or be a scratch golfer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,272 ✭✭✭Henlars67

I just want to graduate and find a 9-5 job which pays enough to cover rent and bills with enough left over for a few nights out each month.

If I had that I'd be quite happy and contented.

I'm not greedy, earning a big salary isn't important to me.

To travel most of the world and learn how to play guitar to an advanced level. I'm 23 and I wish I had of started playing guitar at 16 instead of 22. Wasted so much time on computer games instead!

I've graduated from college and now working and I've been to Thailand, America, Laos and Cambodia but I always have a niggling feeling that I am underachieving.

Just to be comfortable and happy with myself really. Beat myself up way too much over how easy it seems to resolve pretty much any issues I have, but the beating myself up is obviously the real issue.

Just start loafing stuff. Shop shutters, stationary coaches, the Luas.. anything really.

Then go to the doctors and tell them. I doubt they'd make you work if you couldn't stop loafing stuff.

Interesting work to do, a happy home life with someone I'm really 'partnered' to, and eventually a couple of healthy, happy sprogs, no pressing money worries. If I left the world having done some kind of good in it, I'd die happy.
Anything more would be a big bonus.

I would like to evolve to a higher plane of existence and leave this world, becoming freeform energy zooming throughout the universe.

Either that, or move to Sweden and get some hot Swedish love.

I also wish that the BBC would release all 28 series of Casualty on DVD.

Swedish women are not all they're hyped up to be. I speak from experience. I prefer Irish women, they're much more friendly and far sexier.
