Finally got my upgrade to eircom e-fibre today. Very frustrating day of sites freezing & disconnecting, takes ages for pages to load. Very disappointed with it so far. The only difference I noticed was that pictures and print seemed sharper and brighter. Hopefully it gets better. :(

Seems to be a bit better tonight. Did a speed test, and got a download speed of 34, an upload speed of 14, and a ping reading of 26. Are they good readings? They mean nothing to me.

Wireless or wired connection? You are better doing the test with a direct wired connection.

Wireless. What do those readings mean?
