I am trying to book a flight for a colleague from Cork to Dublin but can't seem to find anything.

Can this be the case??? Someone please tell me that it's just that I can't use google, the aerlingus site or any other website!

Really, no flight from Cork to Dublin

That route is gone about three years. The new motorway cut the travel time down to about 2.5 hours and rendered it obsolete.

You can, of course, hire a private jet. http://www.westair.ie/

Probably also what did for Galway airport.

As well as the improved motorway link, there is now an hourly Irish Rail service between Cork & Dublin Heuston, the trip is roughly 2.5 hours. That and the ever increasing hassle involved with airports (security and parking) means that an air service between the two cities is no longer viable.

Ok guess it makes sense (if, unlike my colleague) you have a car.
    The train it is so

Should the colleague actually need to go to the airport then the air coach could be another thing to look into.

Aircoach is a great service, goes from Patricks Quay directly to Dublin Airport.

    Also has Wifi on board.

Significantly cheaper than the train too! And non stop, much more pleasant than the train
