I am preparing an external wooden door for paint and have noticed a few cracks at joints .
Can I use caulk outdoors. I will be painting over with Ronseal teak.
    Thanks.

You can use caulk on exteriors. You can get brown colour too.

Since your using ronseal teak use a wet rag or sponge to remove the excess caulk as it will show through the varnish.
Thats presuming its a varnish not a gloss/satin paint.

If there are a lot of cracks i wouldn't bother with the caulk as it may look odd having lines showing on the door.
