Taxi or driver from Dublin Airport to Gorey?

I have some family coming in from overseas next Friday - and unfortunately no one is available to pick them up - so we need to sort something for them to get down to Gorey - they won't take a bus. I'm guessing a taxi would be massive money - is there any other way of getting a driver of some sort for a more reasonable fee does anyone know?

    Thanks

Wont get the bus? Ah here, the Wexford Bus parks right outside the terminal and will drop them to Gorey, whats the problem with the bus.

If they are paying for it, order them a limousine, tell them the price, then they might decide on taking the bus !

Tell them to take the bus - it is a brilliant service and they depart regularly.

As Vic says the Wexford bus parks in the coach park which is not far from either terminal. See the schedule on www.wexfordbus.ie

If there are 4 or more of them it may be cheaper to get a taxi but ring a local firm in Gorey and they can give you a price.

There are 4 of them and they just dont want to get a bus. So a local taxi firm is the best bet? Any other options?
    Thanks

    Thanks

    Other options :
Could hitch a lift ............Dublin Port would be a good place , as there are lots of trucks with storage space , heading down the N11 .:)

You could send 2 cars from Gorey , and pick them up

A tax should cost no more than €200 , and if so hire a Gorey taxi for pick-up

If the flight arrival time is suitable an option may be a taxi from the Airport to Connolly station and the Rosslare train from there to Gorey.

Booked online the fares are cheaper.

It's a scenic run down and most of the trains have at seat catering. I'm aware that visitors from other countries have specifically travelled on this line (from the Dublin end as well as off the ferries at Rosslare end) to enjoy the scenery. Pity it's not promoted more in the way Coleraine-Derry is up North.

Only downside is there are gaps of several hours between trains.

A neighbour of mine recently got a local taxi from Gorey to the Airport
Rang around getting quotes of €150, settled on a guy for €120

It depends on what day and time they are getting into Dublin at though, he was travelling at what would have been a very quiet time
