    please please can someone advise me
    i was assulted and rapped
    i reported all
    but found the reporting to be the most stressful part
    and now im over whelmed at the idea of court and going over my personal embaressments and dignities
    i cant go through with it
    i need to know can i drop the charges
    am i allowed to not go ahead with the case
    its frightens me so badly
    that iv become constantly panicked and depressed
    i just want to recover at my own pace
    and this feels so out of my control
    can i drop the charges
    can it go to court with out my consent
    feeling suicidal

    OP please get in contact with your local rape crisis centre as quickly as possible they will be equiped to help you. I'm so sorry for your situation but posting here is not the answer.

    been in touch with them regularly
    im copeing with the rape and asult
    my isue is a lack of legal education
    if anyone has legal education can they message me
    about what my options and rights are
    in terms of court
    and me not wanting to go
