Recieved P21 balancing statement but no relief yet?

    Hi,

    I received a P21 balancing statement on PAYE anytime approx. two weeks ago detailing a handy enough sum of money in overpaid taxes that was to be paid back in to my bank account. So far though I have not received it. Is this normal or should I be worried? I was under the impression they usually pay back right away.

    My employer pays on the 10th of every month so is it a case that it comes in the next pay check or should it be separate to that?

    Check what bank a/c you have registered with PAYE anytime. The payment normally follows very quickly after the P21, within a working day or 2.
