Luttrellstown is in great condition at the moment. Greens were poor early in the year but they've come on great in the last 2 months

Luttrellstown is a class course especially off the white tees as the forward green tees ruin holes 11 and 12 in particular. Never played it from the blues but it's looks a beast. Great practice facilities and luxurious club house also.

Only played Lisheen Springs the once, or South County as it was named then before it went into bankruptcy. It was well maintained but nothing particularly special, back nine much more interesting than the front. Good practice facilities also and comfortable club house.

In summary, no comparison Luttrellstown is far superior in terms of course layout. Not sure about condition as haven't played either recently. They're not exactly neighboring clubs so a somewhat unusual comparison/choice.

Lisheen is in great condition, not as grand a course as Luttrellstown but you wouldn't regret playing it, Luttrellstown can be slow as anything but is just a lovely place to play, bar earlier in the year when it was in rag order.

Both designed by Nick Bielenberg as it happens.
Lisheen hosting Pierce Purcell and Junior Cup this weekend and in lovely condition.
    Play them both!
