got an 8" circular CBC for mum's birthday. Very rich, about 18 slices left.

How long will it last if it's just kept in a bread bin or would freezing be better?

I'm not sure how long it keeps in a tin but it freezes really well and I think it's the better option anyway because you're not going to eat a lot of it in a short period. There's less pressure to eat it quickly when it's frozen, you can just defrost it as you want it. We're still defrosting and eating slices from my daughter's boyfriend's birthday 3 weeks ago.
