    Hi Guys,

    I have a friend who has lost the left hand crankbolt from his Centaur carbon chainset, he's ordered a new one but it doesn't look like it will arrive in time for his cycling holiday (leaves on friday), does anyone happen to have a spare one knocking around to get him out of a fix? Will happily buy it or replace it with the new one when it arrives. It's a powertorque chainset from 2012.....
    Many thanks.

    I have a Centaur chainset with very little wear, the non drive side crank was not fitted properly and had a very small amount of play in it. Would be perfect for spares-the whole lot still in it's box. Comes with the cups too-say 35 euro.

    If the OP doesn't take you up on that I will...

    Cheers

    This could possibly be a way out for him!
    Just to confirm;
    Is this is a powertorque bottom bracket version?
    Has the left hand crank become damaged to the point of needing replacement?
    I only need the bolt but having the rest as spares could be useful too, is the bolt in good condition?

    Appreciate the speedy response :-)

    Hey, no problem..just don't want to see it go to waste or have your mate stranded.

    My apologies though, It is Veloce Power Torque in black

    The play on the left crank is neglible even without the washer.

    There is a significant amount of life in the chainrings, which are compact-the cups are relatively new, standard thread.

    I am around Tonight. Whereabouts are you based? I'm just outside Bray but may be along the M50 tomorrow.

    I'm just up the road from you in Killiney so getting down to you is no problem at all, I just need to check if the Veloce bolt/cap is the same as the Centaur, could you PM me a contact number when you get a chance? Many thanks.
