i have one, the bundled remote is a pile of poop. the also supplied M1 airmouse isnt great either. a bluetooth keyboard and wireless mouse would save a lot of annoyance.

as regards the unit, its limited by a 100mbit nic, gbit nic would have been what i would expect. the current firmware has some bugs but it does work as intended.

xbmc is clean and quick, the repos once installed gives access to the usual popular video apps.

it seems they are quite close to the first OTA firmware update which should address many of the issues.

my primary use for it is streaming, and it does its job very well so far.

Thanks for the info as i ordered one the other day.Got a linux Xstreamtec one at the moment and works quite well but the sound quality is a little lacking using SonyMDR-HW700DS ,so thought this might do a better job as it seems well specced.

You should be happy with it!

Get on the minix forums and prepare yourself to install the beta 9.2 version, better to install it before you setup stock firmware as it deletes settings
