    Hi guys,
Just thought, out of curiosity, what mileage you do V work time, the more hours on the tools and less time driving is obviously better when busy.
Some guys have previously said crazy mileage, espicaly small calls/servicing, covering big areas.
From day 1 I stuck to a 15 mile radius (24km) and built up from there.
Luckily I've a large local population localy.
It took time to build it up, but it now pays.

I average 20,000 miles / 32,000km in total inc. in that 5,000 personal use.

Is driving time and costs worth it opposed to income, I know we have to drive & live. Just wondering what mileage ye all do ?

30,000 miles at an average of 45mph=666 hours (The devils No. I know) = 13 hours driving in a 50 week work year if were lucky to be busy all along. So normal working week will be higher mileage.
Slack week and bills still have to be paid.

    What m/km do you do?

when I was much younger and worked on service for a National distributor I covered from Cork to Donegal every 3 weeks and work as well, roughly a thousand a week back then, now 10 or 12 miles radius of home each day much easier on van and man.

I cover a large enough area , last year jan-jan I did 53k -km's. Since I got the new van on 1st of this month I've done 3500km . Spend more time in the van than I do in my house
