    Hi there,

Hopefully someone can help?? I'm looking for an
Alternative non traditional wedding dress, I'm thinking
Along the lines of 50's style grease era that kind of
Style. Also not white pink or baby blue something
Different, I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations
For shops or reasonably priced dress makers???
    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks
    Kajemo

rockfrocks.com Cat is an absolute dream, you can go to her in Athy and try on the dresses and shoes which are stunning and so reasonable. I got my bridesmaids dresses from her last week

I bought my dress from Honeypie Boutique and I know others who have bought from Vivien of Holloway and Peekaboo Dublin.

Yeah they're extremely good quality, true to size too. Take your measurements if you're not sure, they have a size guide on the site

    That would be me

Have the halterneck circle dress in ivory lace, with a bolero and petticoat, waiting for my May 2015 wedding. Exactly what I wanted - with a serious hourglass figure something that nips in like their dresses do is insanely flattering and it worked out really good value too (£200 spent there total). I'm lucky in that I live walking distance from the store in London so was able to try on everything there and have a good chat with the girls there in the process.

I'll be bringing my two bridesmaids over in the new year to get their dresses too, and I'll be putting them both in blue or navy halterneck circle dresses.

If you're thinking of ordering from them, they give the measurements on the site rather than the vintage size. My dress is a vintage size 14 but if you were to find it online it would be given as B36 W28 H40. There's around 4-5 inches of wiggle room on the bust there though, waist is most significant.
