Hi I was wondering if anyone can give me advice. I have been constantly getting my wages late every month and in some cases only half of it then a week later the rest. Have missed my mortgage repayments 3 times because of this and now again after only getting 2nd half of my wages last week the cheque has bounced and my account is overdrawn. My boss says he has to wait until company gets paid as there is no money in the account. My next months wages is due soon and can't see that getting paid either, really getting stressed about it and I havnt the balls for a big confrontation what should I do.

You need to talk to your boss.

Your bankers are not going to be as shy when they speak to you, so you need to speak to your boss, as the other poster said.

Also, if your boss cannot reassure you everything is going to be corrected, and that all bodes well for the future, you may want to consider getting a job with an employer who pays what he owes.

If you leave and are owed back pay and holiday pay etc., you need to take action quickly, because there are time limits. If it's a significant amount of money, you should see a solicitor.
