Myself and my husband are in court later this week to have a repossession hearing on our home and I'm just wondering what to expect on the day. We have had a solicitor working on our behalf but he won't be in court on the day as he is out of the country so we are going in on our own. Its a first time in court for both of us and we are a bit nervous and anxious. Thanks.

The first date nothing will happen, court direction, It will be adjourned probably until December. When you arrive the clerk calls out all listed cases and checks who turned uo, agreements in place etc (it's called call over). The judge then starts hearing the cases. As you case is a fi rst hearing and will be adjourned you will be out within the hour. Nothing major will happen, but still scary I know. Best of luck and stay calm.
