    Hi

Looking at the book of quantum I'm just wonder what compensations/category you receive if you had received say cuts from say a knife, broken glass, dog bite etc on leg, arms etc how would the damages be calculated as the book seems to relate to fractures?

Superficial minor injuries would be much lower. Cuts that cause serious injuries or say a dog bite causing tetanus would be judged separately. The book is just a guide to the most popular injuries.

This made me smile. I've an image of 'Whiplash' being the centrefold.

It covers soft tissue injuries also. The one thing to be conscious of is that every case is unique and the nature of the injuries is unique often. BOQ should allow you to get a guide of what could typically be achieved but solicitor would be best positioned to advise.

Have they substantially recovered, long term implications, the impact on your life, the impact on your career, lost opportunity, loss of wages during treatment, sex, age, etc.
