    Hey,

My claim recently returned and noted that I'm not eligible to receive anything from jobseeker payment. Day before that I had just activated my public services card.

Question is do I still need to sign on every month to show that I'm available for work and what is the purpose of that?

    Thanks.

It depends on whether or not you are entitled to sign for credits. The letter you got saying you were not eligible should indicate whether or not you are.

    Thanks for the reply!

Yeah it says I'm not entitled to sign for credits either.

Do you know if I should be still signing on to show I am able for work and I may be able to get in on an internship scheme with job bridge after three months if I've no luck elsewhere?

Or will that be automatically updated to my profile without signing on since I'm not entitled to credits or jobseekers?

    Cheers!

No you don't need to sign on. Most of those internship thingys require you to be signing for a number of months unfortunately. Sorry to not have better news...

Thanks a lot you've been a great help.

So does that mean I can't be eligible for the internships even if I wanted to unless I actually receive something from jobseekers?

Sorry if it's a stupid question. Appreciate the help!

Well you won't be eligible for payment. If that isn't a problem for you then you should still apply for any that interest you.
