I See people with 3000+ posts. Do you have lives outside boards or just sit on your laptop all day posting? Would you not do something more productive with your lives instead of posting on the internet which isnt real life?
Boards is a great place to get information but 3000 posts like. Come on! Get off the laptop and do something in the real world!

For some it's quantity over quality.

    For you, sadly, it's neither:
If this chick was my own mother, id cum inside her with no rubber and have a son and a new brother at the same time and say that it aint mine.

    Seriously?

Says the man who's building his own computer.

And btw, that other thing you talked about doing in your previous posts in AH, well, you need to go to confession...

I don't really get this whole 'You have x amount of posts, you have no life' thing.

OP, you've managed 6 posts in just one day. If you're a member for just 2 years and average 6 posts a day, boom, 4000+ posts. Do you really not understand how that's possible?

Why do you need to post 5 things a day?

Why did you need to post 9 times in the past 24 hours?

It's a forum where people post things and shocker, their posts add up.

Completely agree OP. The 3k and above brigade are wasting their life's and I bet they don't even realise it

I run a scat bot that creates most of my posts. Hence the obsession with all things faeces.

Actually I have quite a good active life, but rather then go to the news channels I drop by here to see what's happening, and if I have an opinion I will post it, can't see nothing wrong with that.

Without checking the post history or context of that quote, I'm pretty sure it's a line from an Eminem song!

While I admit my post frequency is directly proportional to how boring my life is you have to remember a lot of the users here work in public sector jobs and do the lion's share of their posting at work leaving the evenings free for Glee and Jersey Shore.

We have these things in the real world now OP like smartphones. I would almost exclusively use the touch site at this stage, and I still manage to squeeze plenty into my day.

Smartphones are a great job altogether! :D

i pop in and out generally, having a macbook i just open it and i am online, so while i grab 5 minutes here and there during the day i suppose it looks like i am always online if you take my posts and their times.

and to be fair, i mostly use boards for help on things, in parenting, bargain alerts...etc i find i go to after hours when i am bored, like when i am in bed on sunday morning eating my toast. soon i will be getting dressed and heading out to visit relatives,

i see my friends during the week, work/study or during the summer spend time playing outside and inside with my daughter, get the house clean, cook meals, talk to my husband..etc

The thing is, I think using or having a big computer setup and spending a lot of time on that, is like a life, another type of life. Its almost like what? a culture even.

Now, think of the movies, or even books; you see the crackers with all these setups on chat and all stuff.

What about if people like the OP says, people with loads of posts, if they got more involved also in having more tech stuff on their pc, so things IRC chats open, all that cool stuff, along with having boards.iie open, like a movie.

So really, its cool. I think its not having no life. Once you enter the computer world, an d if you love it, then GREAT.

As Timothy Leary said, (and hes history is from Ireland), the internet/computers are another life, its to avoid authority, etc

    overall good fun stuff

    :)

Yeah, graphics are amazing but the storyline and NPC's are terrible.

You're 26 and you hadn't heard Eminem until you listened to your son's albums? There's so much wrong with that.

You need to get off the laptop and do something in the real world.

I certainly don't sit on my laptop all day posting. It would be incredibly difficult to type while sitting on the keyboard. I suppose I could type with my arse cheeks but it would be incredibly difficult to make one post, let alone 3,000.

Some don't have much of a life outside boards when they post a thread about 'choosing' some venue, which has already been decided. Kinda like Henry Ford early car marketing , 'choose any colour as long as it is black'......or bird (venue):D
