Air Conditioning Not Cooling

    VW Golf, 2009, 1.6TDi

    The air conditioning was working fine up until a few days ago.

    But in the last few days, the air doesn't cool properly and it's basically just blowing out cold air from the fan.

    It works okay the odd time.

    Anyone know what would be the cause of this? Could it be filters or could it be in need of coolant top up?

    Car is still under warranty so can get it looked at if needs be.

    Probably just needs to be re gassed. The car is only 5 years old though so maybe take it to someone and have them check for leaks in the system.

    Sounds like the usual air con compressor failure. Anyone who is familiar with them should be able to diagnose it easily enough.
