Man rears daughter on his own from child was 6 months old everything going grand child well cared for man providing everything . Mother wants child back when child turns 8 years old so man says no and they go to court . When judge hears case he thrented to do mother for abandonment of child but awards joint custody to both parents ' with down turn man work is gone so man get unemployment assit and returns to collage to better himself man finds things tight and applies for 1/2 child benefit each month as he and he alone pays for all child clothes day chothes school books medication hair cuts etc etc everything because childs mother won't man is refused child benefit because they said the only pay one parent and don't split it
Man says but we have 50/50 custody they say which ever parent name child benefit is in it stays in that name . Ok serious issues arise while child is in mother s care and mother ends up in court. Judge removes child from mother care in safely interests of the child and only allow mum to see child once a week in grandparents house . Man applies child benefit and receives it after 3months . Childs safe and sucure with man for two years till mum goes to court and gets 50/50 custofy back but she most continue to have the child at her grannys house and must not bring child to her own house
Mother leaves the court and fills out forms straight away to get her child benefit back in her name even do she have very good job with great pay and child sees her only in her grannys . Man get letter saying his payment has been suspended as mother want monthly payment . And guess what I rang vhild benefil and they said fill out form about hours and sent it back.I say I will but I said two years ago I applied for vhild benefit because we had 50/50 and was told that they won't change it that it stay in who every name its in . The.women reply well mother going to get it back proberbly


Equal rights don't think so. Who is entitled to the benefit.

Child Living Full-Time With Mother/Step-Mother

Child Benefit is paid to the mother (or step-mother).

Child Living Full-Time With Father/Step-Father Only

Child Benefit is paid to the father (or step-father).

Child Not Residing Full-Time With Either Parent

Parents residing in separate households
Child Benefit is payable to the parent with whom the child resides the majority of the time. If the child resides 50% of the time with each parent, the mother is paid.....
